Coinbase Teams Up With Bitkey Wallet Devs

Coinbase has teamed up with Bitkey, a non-custodial wallet developed by Block Jack Dorsey.

Through Coinbase Pay, Bitkey users will be able to securely buy, sell, and transfer bitcoins via a mobile app or hardware wallet.

The platform is currently in the process of beta testing, with an official launch set for later this year.

At the beginning, it will be available to both Bitkey and Coinbase users in the US, Canada, UK, Brazil, and Australia.

Interestingly, Block completed the creation of an open source ASIC chip for bitcoin mining back in May, while its subsidiary TBD launched the c= Lightning Network development unit in March.
