Norway to Develop its Own Digital Currency Market Regulation Model
The Bank of Norway released last week a report focusing on the advancement of the state’s monetary system. Additionally, it paid close attention to the crypto field.
The report claimed that the government doesn’t intend to be concerned about the current transparency standards implemented in other countries.
Instead, they want to explore the European Union’s regulatory framework, which could be applied in Norway partially.
Furthermore, they mentioned that they plan to introduce their own laws for the blockchain sector.
In addition, Norges Bank promised to release a research on the state’s digital currency (CBDC) by the end of 2023; it started to test this virtual crown last summer.
