STEPN Adds Apple Pay Payments

The developers of the M2E project STEPN have added the possibility of direct Apple Pay payment for users of iOS devices when purchasing NFT Sneakers.

This would be exchanged for “sparks” in the application; 10 “sparks” would be equivalent to one dollar.

Shiti Rastogi Manghani, STEPN COO, has commented that the project is an “enormous step” that “has never been done before.”

Additionally, the update includes new features and updated interface to the Mooar NFT Marketplace, now accessible by iPhone users from within the application.

Although they acknowledged the 30% commission to Apple as “far from ideal,” they also welcomed the option for mass adoption. Months of negotiations were required for the integration, according to the COO.
