Hut 8 Mining, a Canadian mining company, has reported that it had mined 132 BTC in April, bringing its total reserve of BTC to 9,265.

The total hashrate of the company’s rigs was 2.6 EH/s, and the average power was 5.77 BTC/EH. Representatives of the company stated that no bitcoins were sold during the month.

As Hut 8 was conducting renovations at its Drumheller premises, the capacity of their installations decreased by about 15%.

An increase in electricity tariffs also posed additional problems for the organization.

CEO Jaime Leverton commented that the firm is focused on closing a deal with US Bitcoin Corp. that will increase their total capacity to 7.02 EH/s and provide access to additional energy markets.

Compared to the previous months, April saw a decrease in BTC production: in January they mined 188 coins, in February 156 coins, and in March 131 coins.
