Hedge Fund Founders 3AC Unveil Name of Main Investors in New Project
The co-founders of the now-bankrupt 3AC hedge fund, Su Zhu and Kyle Davies, have announced the list of top investors in their new cryptocurrency exchange, OPNX, which has been met with both skepticism and excitement.
These investors include AppWorks, Susquehanna (SIG), DRW, MIAX Group, China Merchant Bank International, Token Bay Capital, Nascent, Tuwaiq Limited and others, many of whom are from the Greater China region.
The project, which was first announced in January by CEO and former CoinFLEX CEO Mark Lamb’s wife, Lesley Lamb, is intended to be a way “to atone for past mistakes,” and includes the official launch of the FLEX token.
BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes had hinted at the possibility of a similar initiative a month earlier.
