The Montenegrin prosecutor’s office has accused Do Kwon, the head of Terraform Labs (TFL), of utilizing a false passport and other false identification documents. This news comes from DL News, which has referenced the lawsuit.

If Kwon is found guilty, he faces a prison sentence ranging from three months to five years.

This could hinder US and South Korean authorities’ attempts to extradite Kwon, who faces multiple fraud charges in both countries due to his role in the $60 billion collapse of Terra.

On March 23, 2023, Kwon was arrested at Podgorica airport while attempting to fly to Dubai using forged documents.

This was done at the request of law enforcement agencies in the US, Singapore, and South Korea.

The Seoul prosecutor’s office had previously reported that he was hiding in Serbia.
