Two-thirds of US Users Are Suspicious of Cryptocurrencies: Study
A study conducted by Pew Research Center has revealed that most US citizens lack confidence in the safety of digital assets due to a series of bankruptcies and regulatory uncertainty.
Of the 88% of respondents who have heard of cryptocurrency, two-thirds said they do not trust it as an investment.
Furthermore, nearly 40% said they were “not at all confident” or “not very confident” about the security of trading digital assets, while only 18% answered that they “trust” trading to some extent.
Additionally, the poll showed that older generations are more skeptical than younger generations, with 43% of those who have invested in cryptocurrency considering it unstable.
However, despite the FTX crash, 75% of Americans have some degree of trust in digital assets, according to a March survey by Paxos.
