Web3 Game Dogami Completes $7M Fundraising

Dogami, a we Web3 game about adopting and raising virtual dogs, has recently raised $7 million in an expanded seed funding round.

According to the press release, the investment round was led by European venture capital firm XAnge. Other participants include Bpifrance, Blockchain Founders Fund and Wagram Capital. In December 2021, Dogami raised $6 million from Animoca Brands, Sandbox, Ubisoft and others.

Dogami CEO Max Stöckl has said:

“Dogami are not ordinary dogs, they came from outer space to earth with a specific purpose. They must find the person with whom they are connected, regain their memory and remember their heritage and origin.”

The project, which was founded last year, allows users to buy non-fungible tokens of 3D dogs. The startup also released the DOGA House mobile game for Dogami NFT owners. According to the team, the average age of project players is 30 years old.
