Ripple May Purchase Some of FTX’s Assets

Ripple is considering options for acquiring a part of the assets of crypto exchange FTX.

According to Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, the former head of the collapsed trading platform, Sam Bankman-Fried, contacted him and asked him to support FTX, which was facing financial problems.

Garlinghouse has emphasized that during the conversation with Bankman-Fried, several scenarios for buying crypto exchange assets were discussed.

However, since FTX filed for bankruptcy in early November, the procedure for acquiring its assets may become more complicated and lengthy.

The structure of FTX includes both Alameda Research and the American branch of the FTX.US exchange.
