Mango Markets Community Approves to Pay $47M to Hacker

The community of the DeFi platform Mango Markets ha recently voted in favor of the agreement with the hacker to pay him $47 million so that he returns $69 million.

96.6% of users have given their support to the proposal. All participants will receive a full refund from treasury funds and waive any potential claims and criminal cases.

The hacker used $10 million to carry out the attack. Despite this, his reward could be one of the largest in the crypto industry.

An unknown person stole about $116 million in digital assets from Mango Markets last October 12 through the price manipulation of the oracle.
