Developers Behind NFT Collection Azuki to Raise $30 Million
The team of developers behind the NFT collection Azuki, Chiru Labs, plans to conduct a $30 million Series A funding round at a $300 million to $400 million valuation.
The final terms have not yet been agreed.
The Azuki collection is released on the Ethereum blockchain and consists of 10,000 tokens. According to OpenSea, the minimum price for NFTs is 11.4 ETH or $14,670. The cumulative sales volume of the respective works on the marketplace has reached 262,000 ETH.
NFT project Doodles has earlier raised $54 million from Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
Prior to this, the company owned by the latter, Seven Seven Six, invested $10 million in Proof, the startup behind the collection of non-fungible tokens Moonbirds.
