Infura Team Plans to Launch a Decentralized Infrastructure Network
Infura, developer of infrastructure solutions for the Ethereum blockchain, has announced that it plans to launch an open source decentralized protocol that has been designed to provide uninterrupted user access to Web3 applications and eliminate a single point of failure.
The project, dubbed Decentralized Infrastructure Network, will complement, but not replace, existing Infura products and is expected to launch on the first half of 2023.
According to the press release:
“The decentralized protocol is a community of highly active infrastructure providers, participants in the open source ecosystem, who together can overcome the current market restrictions.”
According to the head of ConsenSys, the launch of the project is a natural stage in the development of the platform.
