PayPal Adds Possibility to Withdraw Crypto to External Wallets
Payments company PayPal has opened the possibility of transferring cryptocurrencies between accounts, as well as their withdrawal to third-party wallets, according to the company’s website.
The option to send Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin to various addresses is currently only available to select US users. Support for the option for all US customers will appear in the coming weeks.
The company has also received a BitLicense from the Financial Services Authority (NYDFS) to offer its services to New York State residents.
PayPal Vice President Richard Nash has previously said the company is working to integrate blockchain and cryptocurrencies into its services.
