Christine Lagarde, the head of the European Central Bank (ECB), has recently stated the EU authorities should regulate the crypto market in order to provide reliable protection for investors and make transactions as transparent as possible.

Now, surprisingly, she has said that her son is investing in cryptocurrencies.

According to her, she is not going to buy digital currencies and continues to consider them as dubious and risky instruments. However, her son did not listen to her and still bought virtual coins. However, she has not unveiled the crypto he has bought.

Lagarde is one of the many European officials who believe that it is possible to reduce the growing influence of bitcoin with the help of a digital euro.
