Chainalysis Valued at $8.6B Following Results of Latest Investment Round
Analytical firm Chainalysis has raised $170 million in Series F funding from the Sovereign Fund of Singapore and other investors, The Information has reported.
In June 2021, following the results of the previous investment round, the valuation of the company amounted to $4.2 billion, whereas in March of the same year, the startup was valued at a little over $2 billion.
In 2020, the firm opened offices in Singapore and Tokyo to increase its presence in APAC. Today, Chainalysis serves the interests of various departments, exchanges, financial institutions and cybersecurity companies in more than 70 countries.
In April, the company launched two new tools to identify crypto wallets subject to sanctions.
