Venture Capital Company gumi Cryptos Capital Receives $110M in Investments

gumi Cryptos Capital (gCC), a company focused on cryptocurrencies, has recently raised $110 million to invest in early-stage startups, according to the press release shared by the company.

The firm has announced the launch of a second fund that will focus primarily on DeFi, the metaverse, gaming, and the DAO.

gCC has said it intends to invest in each new project amounts ranging from $500,000 to $5 million, both through equity investments and through the purchase of tokens.

The value of the assets of the first fund (Fund I), which has 36 companies in its portfolio, has increased from $21 million to $516 million, gCC representatives have said. The company has invested in OpenSea in its seed funding round, as well as the Celsius Network and DeFi platform 1inch.
