Phemex CEO Says He Believes in Success of Metaverses

Crypto exchange Phemex listed 12 tokens in January, including the internal currencies of the metaverses.

Phemex is a Singapore-based spot and futures crypto exchange that has been operating since 2019. The platform was founded by eight former employees of Morgan Stanley. It trades 52 crypto assets and futures contracts with leverage up to 100x.

Last month, Phemex placed tokens for projects that create and develop interactive virtual spaces.

The CEO of the crypto exchange, Jack Tao, is confident that the sector will significantly affect the daily lives of people:

“I strongly believe in the success of the metaverses. They will help create a world where people interact closely in 3D virtual reality. We continue to explore this market and plan to expand the list of supported tokens.”
