The Graph Creators Announce NEAR Protocol Integration
The Graph Foundation team, developer of the decentralized data indexing protocol The Graph, has started supporting the NEAR Protocol. According to the developers:
“The Graph has expanded beyond EVM with the support of the NEAR Protocol.”
According to them, the service operates for the first time on a network incompatible with the Ethereum blockchain.
NEAR Protocol representatives have emphasized the integration will enable the creation of public APIs on the network, allowing the Web3 infrastructure to “support even more decentralized applications.”
Edge & Node Graph co-founder Tegan Kline has said the Graph Foundation will continue to offer grants to expand the service.
The Graph’s creators announced in December 2020 the launch of a decentralized data indexing protocol on the Ethereum mainnet. They compared its development to the Internet without Google.
