Market Cap of DeFi Industry Reaches $145 Billion

The market capitalization of the decentralized finance (DeFi) market has recently hit a new all-time high of $145.5 billion, according to TradingView.

We should remember that the previous record was established in the month of May, when the price of Ethereum jumped to its ATM of $4,170.

In terms of project, data on CoinMarketCap shows that Uniswap is the largest project from the decentralized finance world with a capitalization of $18 billion and $5 billion in total value locked (TVL) in smart contracts.

The DeFi sector is gaining popularity among users, as the 44% and 33% rise of UNI or AAVE over the past month shows. The Ethereum network has seen an increasing transaction volume after the London hardfork.
