CoinMarketCap Rolls Out ETH Token Swaps
Analytical resource CoinMarketCap, which was acquired by Binance in April 2020, has just announced the integration of a token swap feature in collaboration with Uniswap, both platforms have announced via Twitter.
According to the platform, this new feature will support additional decentralized exchanges and networks in the future.
At the moment, it is compatible with Ethereum and decentralized exchange Uniswap.
Now, all the pages of Ethereum-based tokens feature a swap icon, which users can use to connect a wallet and make swaps between tokens based on the ERC-20 standard. At the moment, the supported wallets include Coinbase, MetaMask, Fortmatic, Portis and WalletConnect.
CoinMarketCap has seen its traffic increase from 101 million in January to the current 272.32 million, coming most visits from the site of Binance.
We should remember that the platform has been operational since 2013 and that in 2019 it integrated crypto indices on major finance platforms, including the Nasdaq Global Index Data Service and Bloomberg Terminal.
