The Price of Altcoins Shiba Inu and Chiliz Soars Following Coinbase Pro Listing
The price of Shiba Inu (SHIB), a meme cryptocurrency, and Chiliz (CHZ), a fan token, has skyrocketed after Coinbase Pro, Coinbase’s cryptocurrency exchange for institutional investors, listed both tokens on its platform.
After the exchange announced it had added support for the cryptos, their prices increased by 33% in the case of SHIB and 26% in the case of Chiliz. It is worth noting that this sharp price jump should not be a surprise, as being listed in such a large crypto trading platform is a milestone all crypto projects would like to achieve.
Users can already make inbound transfers for Shiba Inu and Chiliz, as announced by Coinbase Pro yesterday, while trading will only be available tomorrow when there is enough liquidity in 3 different phases: post-only, limit-only and full trading.
In terms of prices, SHIB, whose price was $0.000007002 prior to the Coinbase Pro listing, increased to $0.000009331 in just one hour, while the price of Chiliz increased from $0.2773 to $0.3495 after the announcement was made.
SHIB is quite similar to Dogecoin, as it is a meme crypto representing a shiba inu dog.
Who knows, maybe Elon Musk might also tweet something about it in the future, since he seems to like dogs judging from his continuous mentions to Dogecoin.
